Home Furniture Savings Return Policy

Customer Satisfaction is what counts at Home Furniture Savings. If, you are not satisfied with your purchase. We will gladly accept your return or exchange within 30 days of sale date. Please feel free to contact us anytime toll free at 1-888-857-8848 for further details.

The customer ir responsible for return shipping. While we do offer free shipping for most of our products, the original shipping charges, handling fees and return shipping fee for the returned item(s) will be deducted from the refund. The reason the fees above are none refundable is because we can not get money back on them. In addition there will be a restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund if you choose to return your item(s).

Damaged products or item(s) received out of error, Home Furniture Savings will pay for the product to be returned and the replacement to be shipped to the customer. If the customer does not want the necessary parts or replacement unit, the product may be returned under Home Furniture Savings return policy. For unusual circumstances, if an order has been sent in error, return shipping charges are subject to special conditions and the customer must contact our customer service department at 1-888-857-8848 for further details.

Once an order has been shipped it may not be cancelled. The cost for round trip shipping will be deducted from refunds if orders are refused. If an order is refused it will then be considered a return, and as such, will result in a restocking fee and shipping costs for both ways.

Refunds will be processed when the merchandise is received at our distribution centre.

Easy Return Procedures

Before an item is returned to Home Furniture Savings, you must log into myaccount to fill out a return form to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All return request must be filed within 3 days of product delivery. Home Furniture Savings reserves the right to refuse return requests placed after the first 3 days of product delivery.

An RMA code will be issued and sent to via email to confirm your request and instructions will be included on how to return the order. RMAs must be applied within 30 days of issued date.

It is the customers responsibility to ship the product back at their own cost. Make sure to wrap product carefully. If the product is damaged while in transit back to the distribution centre, the package will be refused. Returned items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging. Additional fees may be applied if returned products are not in their original condition and packaging.

Return items to the provided address; this address will be either be a distribution centre or the manufacturer=s warehouse. We strongly recommend that you insure the package so if any issues arise during the transportation of the returned order. Home Furniture Savings is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Customers would need to file a claim with the carrier.

You will need to obtain a tracking number or confirmation number from the carrier. Please save this number for reference, until the distribution center has received and accepted the returned item(s). You may also email the tracking number to the Home Furniture Savings store. Once received a credit can be processed.

HOME FURNITURE SAVINGS WILL NOT REFUND SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES UNLESS THE RETURN IS A RESULT OF OUR ERROR.

Receiving Damaged Products

Note: Damaged products in transit is a rare issue. If you receive a damaged item then below is the procedures that need to be followed so we can take care of any issue as quickly as possible.

Once you have placed your order with us we want you to receive it as quickly as possible. Our products are very carefully packaged. Most of our items are double packed. In the unlikely event your product is damaged please notify Home Furniture Savings immediately, if the item has missing parts please contact us and we will gladly ship replacement parts free of charge.

If a order is damaged that was shipped by Truck Freight, please follow the procedure outlined below.

Inspect the package thoroughly and its contents prior to signing for delivery. Please keep in mind that while the outside packaging might appear damaged, the actual contents of your package might have been successfully protected by the cushioning materials inside the container and be perfectly intact. Do not refuse the order based only on external inspection of the package.

If packaging is not inspected upon delivery due to circumstances beyond your control, write "PACKAGE NOT INSPECTED SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" After you have inspected your order and should it be damaged, phone the carrier immediately to report it. The replacement part form must be filled out for all replacement part(s) requests.

Even if the package appears only slightly damaged, it is very important to any claim you might need to make that you write "Package Damaged" on the sheet you are required to sign at time of delivery. This keeps all the documentation in order if necessary for future use by Home Furniture Savings if needed.

Time is of the utmost importance, because most carriers allow only 48 hours from the time of delivery for parties to file freight claims. Carriers will be arranged to pick up packages and product replacements will be sent if parts cannot be replaced. All returned items should be in their original packaging.

For orders shipped by any other method including USPS, FedEx and UPS that might not require a customer=s signature, if parts are then found missing or damaged after packages have been accepted, contact Home Furniture Savings immediately or submit a replacement parts form.

Delivery Refusal

A delivery should never be refused. Open the package and inspect the contents to check that the item itself has not been damaged. If your order is damaged, please write "PACKAGE DAMAGED" on the carriers sign sheet. Accept the package, then contact us. Do not refuse the package based only on an external inspection of the packaging.

Should an item need to be returned for whatever reason, as outlined in our return policy, the customer is responsible for round-trip shipping and restocking fees, which will be deducted from the customer=s refund. Any of the following situations will be considered returns and are subject to Home Furniture Savings Return Policy:
  • Refusal of delivery of an item the customer wanted to cancel but could not because the product had already been shipped.
  • Refusal of delivery of the product because the customer no longer wants it as a result of one of many reasons that normally falls under "buyer remorse".
  • Refusal of delivery due to the product arriving damaged. As explained above, Home Furniture Savings will do its very best to correct damage issues, but it must first be received by the customer and documented as damaged before a claim can be processed.


Note: If a package is attempted to be delivered and the customer is not available and the package is sent back to us, the return shipping and restocking fees will be deducted from the refund.

Contacting the manufacturer first will be faster than calling Home Furniture Savings and having us call them on your behalf.

If there are too many damaged parts, a new unit will be sent to you. The maximum number of parts to be replaced is determined by the manufacturer. If this number is above is the predetermined limit, the manufacturer will send you a new item. When the new item is sent to you, it will be fully insured by Home Furniture Savings and we will pay all shipping costs. Depending on the manufacturer=s practices and policies, you should receive your replacement parts or unit in 10-14 business days of processing your replacement parts request.

In order to process all other part(s) or item replacement requests as quickly as possible, make sure that you include as much detail as possible when filling out the Replacement Parts Form available through My Account under your order.

To report any missing or damaged pieces, compare the name and number of parts listed in the instruction manual to the number of pieces you unpacked. For additional documentation, you can take pictures of the damaged parts. The Home Furniture Savings online Replacement Parts Form will accept text only, any images you would like to include can be sent in a separate email to replacements@homefurnituresavings.com. Please enter the order number in the subject line of any emails with pictures attached, so that we will be able to match the correct replacement parts request with the corresponding picture(s).

Cancellations

Please contact us at 1- 888-857-8848 Monday - Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm CST if you would like to cancel your order.

We will confirm this with our Distribution Center before we will continue with the cancellation. Cancellations for shipped orders will be treated as a return and will be subject to our Return Policy.

Cancellations will not be accepted via email and must be confirmed by one of our customer service associates that the request has been submitted. Requesting an order to be cancelled does not imply that a cancellation has been accepted
